I just straightened my hair permanetly last summer and i wanna dye the end of my hair a different color(im thinking red, purple or blue)
would anything happen to my hair if i did? like would it become not straight and frizzed like it was before?

Just pick up a box of blue black hair dye. I can't remember the brand that has it, but it's a gorgeous color. Last time I looked they carried it at Wal-Mart. It shouldn't be a problem to do since your hair is already basically black.

I have it done the same way.. don't bleach it.. that will just burn your hair.. and leave it feeling crappy dry! You can die it like that with your own hair color!

i have a friend who dyes her hair all those funky colors and she bleaches it blonde every time she colors it a new color so that it will so up really good but if you want a black/blue look i wouldnt dye it blonde so that the black would show through
oh, that's easy! no bleaching necessary! just use a Raven Black shade (at least that was the name of what i used a few years ago), it's a blue-black, exactly what you need. and the blue sheen shows in the sun, it's really pretty as long as you keep the hair healthy! so yes, any salon that can dye hair can easily help you with this.
If you just want it to have a blue sheen you probably won't have to bleach, the more blue you want it will have to be bleached. Just call you salon ahead of time to make sure they have the color (unless it is something they do pretty often) I dyed mine pick and they had to order the color for me.
If you already have black hair all you have to do is buy dark blue hair dye at hot topic, and color over top of you natural, and then youll end up with a really nice blue black
yes and yes. I have dark brown hair and dyed it a beautifull bluey-violet at one point. I picked up the dye but took it to a salon to get done, to get best results I had it lightened first, but not so far as to be a bottle blonde.
Another thing to keep in mind is how damaged or healthy your hair is to begin with. Mine was 'virgin' hair so the dye wouldn't have taken well without my roughing it up a bit with bleach. If your hair has already been processed a bit the dye will take pretty easily.

No, you don't have to bleach it if it's NATURALLY black. Salons could do it, but I prefer doing it at home. Just run to Sally and they'll tell you EXACTLY what to do.
My friend tried to do that but her hair dresser wouldn't let her because she would have had to bleach it and then it would make her hair thinner and it could have fallen out. But I don't know, it could work for you!

When my older sister was 13 she was aloud to die her hair and I asked my mom if I could die my hair when I was 13 and she said yes, she promised and my mom asways keeps her promises. i think that is a neat idea. make sure your mom understands it's not permanent, and buy a temporary or wash-out color (like 8 washes or something) that might make her feel better. when i was younger i used jazzings by clairol. dipping is harder than it sounds though, you might want to get someone to help you if your mom says ok.
another option would be setting up a goal and asking your mom if dying your hair could be a reward. maybe you could volunteer once a week somewhere neat like an animal shelter!

maybe purple or blue is too extreme. start of with a natural color. if ur hair is brown, for instance, dye the tips blonde or something. she only worried about you, dying your hair will damage it.

umm first of all get your hair highlighted with light tints of purple or blue so it is not very noticable and then progress slowly and it will wear on them.but personaly why would you want to die your hair those colors???Because it can ruin your hair.

Schwarzkopf has a nice blueing shampoo. Sounds like you already know how it works. I wouldn't use an actual toner on your hair though....not unless you spoke to a hairstylist who recommended one and she probably wouldn't do that. She would simply do that for you at the salon.
If youre just trying to tone down brassy tones, go for the schwarzkopf BC sold in salons or beauty supply stores. Just don't over dot it with this shampoo. You can end up looking quite violet and you dn't want that!! I would use it maybe 2ce a week if you're washing it every day! (lmaybe once a week if you wash it every other day) Good luck!
im 17, i've been shaving for nearly 2 years. I'm of middle eastern decent, so as expected, i tend to grow hairs a little faster than my age group. If you look at the picture below, you'll see the RED is where i currently shave, as other guys do too. If you look at the BLUE, that is where other hairs have grown, but i've hesitated to shave them because i dont want them growing back there darker and faster.. They're becoming more and more noticable, as i've only 'trimmed' them once, and they'r almost 2 cm now!(estimate).... my parents told me to not do anything to them, and they'll just 'fall out'.. Now, obviously that doesn't happen with hairs, they barely ever just 'fall out' until im 50 or w/e..... so what can i do,, shave them? wax? what are all my options?

If you would want permanent hair removal, there are two options. There is electrolysis. A hot needle is inserted into the root of each hair folical to kill the root. The other is laser hair removal. I've only heard of this being done on women but I'm sure men could have it done also. I am female and have had both done. Just some ideas.

You can wax or shave the unwanted hairs, but they will come back. The source that I looked at explained different reasons why hair might be growing in that area. A good alternative to remove the hair is electrolysis. All you have to do is have a few periodic treatment and then the hair should not come back. My mom had her eyebrows done this way and has not had the unwanted hair come back. Good luck!

clairol used to make a red based black color, but they don't manufacture it anymore. it used to be available at sally beauty supply, which would be your best bet if you insist on doing it at home. you want a level 1 or 2 with a red base, which is going to be nearly impossible to find, as those levels are typically manufactured with blue or violet bases. a professional can mix one up special for you.
just got get it done at the hair dresser and tell her you want it to have a red tint in the sun. I went there for just black hair, and she said she didnt like it plain black, so she added red in it herself so it would be like you're talking about. you just have to ask, it's easily done =)

grey colored contacts also go great. the color isn't so unnatural that people will think that you're really fake for wearing contacts that don't compliment you, but the grey looks great in the light and when you take pictures. so give that a try instead of the blue unless you already have blue eyes and just want a more startling color that will get your noticed more. good luck! if you have a costco if your area, they might have free samples for you to try =]

Reconsider dyeing your hair black because it will clash with your light skin tone and it won't look good. If you want something darker though try dark brown with lighter brown or blonde highlights. As for your eyes-i suggest green,hazel or blue. Green will probably stand out the most though.

That looks like a burgundy red, or auburn. Yes it should look good. If it's at home color then buy a brighter shade. I have used the new herbal essences burgundy and it lasted forever. I think it was called plush plum. Looks purple on the box, but it isn't. That or radiant ruby. That red is gorgeous!Use the conditioner that comes with it at least once a week and it helps with holding the color in your hair.

no....I have naturally dark blond hair and did almost the exact same color for Christmas of 06. It looked awesome, but it faded fast. It requires a lot of touch ups. And later I tried to get my hair back to it's natural color no salon would touch it. They told me it would turn kind of orange. I ended up having to color my hair dark brown to cover it up.

Try pink. A girl i work with has naturally blonde hair and puts red koolaid on the tips (her hair is REALLY long) and i think it looks awesome. It even has a pinkish tint to it, like it fades from dark blonde (her roots) to blonde, then to light pink to pink to bold red. Its awesome. I guess any of those colors you suggested could work, but i like pink!! good luck!

I think strawberry blonde, caramel, beige NOT ASHY ... the highlights as well as your makeup should go in the SAME FAMILY OF COLORS.. yours is a warm palette.. so stay in the warm blondes or neutral (beige is neutral) but never go ASH BLONDE. You should do whatever makes you feel good about you, sounds like you would be really pretty with golden highlights or even a little red, bleach always damages your hair so start lightly and make sure you discuss damage to your hair with a good stylist, it's okay to use the home stuff as long as your going darker but lighter you will need help or run the risk of damaging your hair.

shop at American Eagle and Hollister, wear jean skirts and flats, lots of cute tanks in the summer, flipflops, polos .. big sunglasses .. for makeup, go natural, but still make it obvious that you have makeup on. so, brown eyeliner and eyeshadow to make your eyes pop, and a touch of mascara, some light pink shimmer gloss, and a tiny bit of blush to make your cheeks look rosy. for hair, layered, the longer the better, good thing you have blonde hair. alot of preps have blonde hair. paint your nails and toes. bring a mirror to school to keep either in your locker or pencil case. or both. also bring top up lipgloss to school also. cant get chapped lips.

Whatever you do....DO NOT dye your hair bright blonde. I think that looks awful when girls do that! It looks so unnatural. If you do dye your hair at all, just make sure it is natural looking. I think since you have blue eyes you should stick with blonde though. Just make sure it isn't bleach blonde..that has got to be the worst thing any girl could ever do to their hair! If your hair is black and you use a at home bleach kit....best case scenario your hair pulls to a yellow(although orange is much more likely). When you add the blue color, it'll be like mixing yellow and blue so you're hair will more then likely turn very green or a weird dark greeny shade. Don't do it at home. It won't turn out how you'd like.
you can get one at sallys beauty supply for about $8.00......since you are only doing a strip, you can isolate a section of hair using foil.

You should do whatever you want to do! I like Anne Bancroft in the Graduate but that was a white streak. That looked very nice. I wouldn't get streaks of purple, what about only one wide streak of purple? If it's all highlighted, it might look as though it was a mistake because sometimes you see people with purple hair and it's a mistake. You could be sophisticated and cool with one thick purple streak on one side of your head like Bancroft in the Graduate.

I've done some pretty crazy things to my hair but i dont know how xtreme u want to go. You could cut it and add red, pink, black, or watever color streaks. But if u do pink ppl might call u Avril Lavigne. My hair used to be the same as yours except brown. Then I dyed it jet black and made thick long bangs. You could also dye the ends a different color. I did that too with red and purple, but not at the same time. Maybe add layers. Sorry if my ideas dont work but Good Luck=)

It depends on what you like. Try picking up a hairstyle magazine and look at people that have the same hair texture as you. Take pics to your stylist and see what she thinks will best suit you. Try looking online at various websites to get an idea of what you want to achieve.
Grow it longer and get layers so it will be fun curling and straightening it. Maybe some highlights will also do the trick!
Dye it purple and be wild and crazy for a while....til it washes out......
get it layered at the hairdressers! Then you can style it any way you want. If you get it layered, then you can make your hair messy or straight or whatever you want. Use bed head or garnier style products, because they still keep your hair soft whilst its shaped. You can even use more clips and ribbons etc. if your hair if it's layered. You should also try putting some high lights in your hair, then it would go with your layered hair. This is what i just reckon would look really good! hope it helps!
I'd get bangs. If you have blue eyes and light skin, bangs would really bring out your eyes. Your height doesn't limit you from any style. You can have hair all one length or layered. Round faces look good with straighter styles with less volume at the sides and more lift at the crown. No big, curly dos for a round face. Side parts look good for the round face too. Middle parts are slimming as well, if you don't want to play around with the crown hair. No bangs are ok as long as your forehead has good height. Low forehead and round face is a bad combo. So bangs can correct forehead height problems. And bangs do make the round face seem less large. But never any width at the sides of the head. I have a round face. After years of lousy styles, I finally figured it out!

Right now my hair is reddish/light brown. I've pre-lightened it every week with sun-in spray. The products I have bought for dying my hair are kaleidocolors tonal powder lightener in blue, pure white 40 volume creme developer, and creme toner in 301 D white beige base blue. All are from clairol professional.
Would these get me to a nice pale yellow color? Is there anything else I should do to avoid getting brassy hair in orange tones? Any help and tips would be appreciated.
you put that on your scalp and it will burn itch and may even blister! The best thing anyone can do when trying to lighten hair is go to a salon and get it done, your hair may turn brassy or even green..... be careful!!!

Use lighter fluid... You need nothing else. My little sister decided she would wash all of our clothes one day. Too make along story short, Ink everywhere..... Lighter Fluid was the only thing that got rid of it all... Spray a generous amount, let sit for an hour or so and it should be good to go....
The reason hairspray works to remove ink is not the hairspray, it is the alcohol in the hairspray. Pour the rubbing alcohol unto the stain, then blot with a dry towel. I don't think it will remove all the ink, but it should lighten the stain enough to bleach it out. I know, you hate to use bleach, but what have you got to lose at this point? So after the rubbing alcohol, add bleach to the wash water, let the washer fill completely and start agitating before you add your sheets so as not to get blotches. That way if the sheets fade, they will fade evenly and still be usable. Good Luck.
Go to walmart and get some super clean... often found in the automotive dept.... it disolves the marker..... You can almost see it working the moment you put it on.... also good on anything greasy.... but never leave it on painted surfaces...it will lift the paint...but it works great on sheets. My great niece took a turquise marker to bed with her, unknown to her mom and she got it all over the bedding.... I sprayed it and it all came out .

going from black to baby blue, you would have to bleach the sections of your hair that you want blue.
then once those parts are bleached, you can dye them blue.

A hairdresser will have to strip certain parts of your hair of the dark colour to put baby blue on to it. I'm not sure though, but to go from dark to light you need to strip the initial colour. Go and ask at your local hairdressers :)

You can also get those little clip in hair extentions in any color and clip them where you want. Other than that, everyone else is right: blech first then add the blue. Its hard to keep it looking good as your hair grows out so keep in mind that it is probably going to be a temporary thing.

I wouldn't dye it at all, because many women pay money to have your hair color.
However, if you really want to dye your hair I would go with the chocolate brown, which would really make your blue eyes pop.
In order to lighten your hair, you would have to bleach it which damaged your hair severely, while dying it darker will usually just give you a few split ends.

You sound very hyper and cute, however sometimes all you need to do for change is ad something to what you already have. Perhaps think of what says you and ad it to your style. once you cut or color, it will ad to the confusion. What I would recomend is what I have in my hair, I dyed underneath my hair, so when the wind picks up my hair or I put my hair in a ponytail you can see the blue, but blue streaks on your bangs looks kind of tacky, no offesne. I would get one of those conair products that you can color youre own hair but it washes out, so you can see if you like it or not. If you do like it but you think it looks messy, get it done professionally. Good luck!
Well if you want a temporary one I suggest buying blue hairspray. I've seen it at Walgreens before. There's also alot of other colors like pink, yellow, green, etc.

I have medium brown hair and my friend and I decided we each die a strand of hair an unnatural color. I picked electric blue... Well another friend of mine did it for me and it didnt show up! Why? And FYI i CANNOT bleach my hair.
funky colors such as electric blue, red, orange, pink etc. are semi permanent colors. this means they do not have ammonia which means it will not lighten your brown hair.
to achieve a electric blue color you would have to bleach your hair very very light almost white blonde. then apply the electric blue color. if it is only bleached to a yellow stage you will end up with green hair, because yellow+blue=green
it is very difficult to bleach hair to a white stage without causing alot of damage to the hair. i know you allready mentioned that bleaching is not an option for you but i just wanted to let you know that this is the only way you can see the blue color that you want!

I am sorry it didn't show up. the reason it didn't show up was because the color was two dark for the color to bond. If you can bleach it next time try it. I have pink and color look great in brown or blond hair. try a darker color. if you dye it more than once it may bond the third or forth time. after you do this use a sulphate free shampoo to wash your hair other wise the color will be stripped from your hair. good luck with the color
there is no other way of getting the blue in your hair without bleaching it, sorry.
I used to use Dove shampoo and conditioner. I have tried 2 in 1's Head %26amp; Shoulders, Pert Plus w/ a light conditioner and Selsun Blue. I have to wash my hair daily due to my work environment . I also have to use conditioner due to its length. I have been using Dove again but it still gets greasy and I still have Dandruff. HELP!
I totally hear you. I've had the same problem for years.
I've finally found something that works for me. I use Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo. Expensive, but marvelous. It has menthol so it exposes the scalp. AFTER that, I use Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment (The orange stuff, best you can buy over the counter). Lastly, I use the Tea Tree conditioner to moisturize.
If that still doesn't work, it's time to see a dermatologist and get a prescription. Don't stop until you get it fixed. Unfortunately, people react very negatively to dandruff, especially if you're young, and assume things about you that can hurt you socially and professionally.
The same thing happened to me. Use some of your hairstylists shampoo. Thats what i did.

its greasy because its so dry its producing more oils than needed, i wouldn`t use dandruff shampoos they only made matters worse for me, try using loreal kids 2-in-1 and scrub your scalp with oyur fingertips (not nails) really really well. good luck!
Sometimes what works for one does not work for another. Years ago, I had a dandruff and greasy hair problem. As you did, I tried all the dandruff shampoos at no avail. Don't remember where I got the info, but started dousing my head in Listerine every night and every morning. The tingling felt so good on my itchy scalp. After about a week of this, my dandruff completely went away and has never come back .

this will sound crazy but it works...try sunlight dish detergent (designed to cut grease) and follow with an inexpensive egg shampoo. as for the dandruff..i`ve heard that washing your hair with beer works but i don`t know for sure.
Don't stop using head and shoulders! Try to use the one that has the pink background, Its a smoothing one and also use the same conditioner, it makes a big difference! Don't put any serums or moisturisers onto your scalp as it will make it worse. If it has just started doing this recently it could be a number of things such as stress, bad diet even a bout of eczema or similar. Unfortunately our hair and our skin are always the first to show these problems.

It depends on how permanent the dye you used is. If it's semi- just wait for it to wash out, if it's permanent, it'll still fade a lot, but it will always be a little bit visible.
What you're probably going to have to do is strip your hair. It's not as nasty as it sounds. I've used this product : http://www.walgreens.com/dbimagecache/28... (you can get it at CVS or Walgreens, i dunno if they have those is Thailand) several times on myself and others and it's worked great. What it does is it removes all the pigments from your hair, which makes it really ugly. Then you just dye over it whatever shade you want. The other option is use just plain hair bleach, but I think that's a little harsher on your hair. Either way, you're going to have to dye over it to get it back to natural.
Another option is to just dye over it a darker color, either darker blond or brunette or even red. The darker pigments will cover the pink and blue. You could even use a semi permanent color to do this, (I'd suggest that over permanent, actually, herbal essance natural instincts is the best). Anyway, at least then your hair will be a natural color, just not your natural color.

Hi there- I would just be care full. I am a student at Paul Mitchel the school in SLC,UT. What did you use to dye the navy, and pink? Do you know if it was a temporary kind of dye? That may be hard to get out- sometimes those types of colors will stain the hair shaft, and be very,very tough to get out. I would never recommend someone to try lightning at home.. but you gotta do, what you gotta do I guess! The color stripper may work, and the N 10.0 and N 9.0 means that it is N-NATURAL and the 10 would be the lightest on the scale, then 9,8,7 ect. till you get to level 1-which is black. You may also want to pick up a toner if possible, or KAVA Shampoo. which will tone the blonde and take out any unwanted yellow or orange tones. Good luck! Be care full!

You shouldn't even dye your hair. We can do tremendous damage by using chemical dyes and permanents as well as by simply aiming the blow dryer at our heads every morning. Like being in the sun, all of these self-inflicted abuses destroy the cuticle and leave hair wide open to damage. Pulling hair into tight braids or ponytails can increase that stress and lead to breakage鈥攐r even bald spots. But in addition to being a cue that you need to treat you hair more carefully, unhealthy strands can also be an indicator of an unhealthy diet. Without adequate protein, growing hair strands won鈥檛 become as strong and resilient as they should be. And essential fatty acids (found in fish oil supplements, wild salmon, and flax seeds) may also play a role in keeping strands strong, shiny and healthy. If your diet is lacking in them, try increasing your consumption and see if your hair eats it up! Of course, what you eat can only impact hair that is just starting to grow, so it will be several months before any improvements are evident.

Sure use a strip of sellotape, it works Like a miracle ! ! I should know I have cats.
Dye the cat. If that fails get a jumper to match the cat
throw the cat out (like a man), burn the clothes, then go shopping.

You can't get cat hair from woollen clothes....you get it from cats!
Use your vacuum cleaner and/or use the sticky side of tape to get the hair from your clothes.
I know the problem....
buy yourself a lint brush.if you do not have one on hand until then wrap tape around your hand sticky side up and go over your pants with the tape it should grab all the hair.
Lint rollers are somewhat more effective than just sellotape. My cat sheds a lot of hair. You can probably get one at the grocery store.

olive oil or canola oil may help dissolve it. if not, at least it will be well conditioned, shiny blue hair. leave the oil in a while and it'll take a lot of shampoo to get the oil out.

Go for whatever makes you comfortable. Dark brown usually works with your skin tone and eye color. And remind your parents its YOUR hair, not theirs. I've been through that, and my hair has been every color of the rainbow several times over. :)

i think your hair looks very lovely in your blonde color shade.. not at all fake- it looks very healthy--- so i would not change the color but if you did i think that brown would also look nice

I think you should get it to your shoulders in layers that always looks nice but if you don't want to cut it than you should get a magazine and try one of there styles.
Chest Length with some nice layers and maybe side swept bangs. It would help if you told us if your hair was straight, curly, or wavy, and what haircut you currently have, but that's my suggestion. =}

Hello , i am planning on dying my hair from black / brown to Electric blue . Is it ok to bleach my hair then colour it on the same day?
It's perfect! The more stripped of natural oils your hair is, the more porous and all the better to hold your new hair color. Once the blue has set and you are washing it out, then you can condition your hair like crazy to seal it in. The Special F/X dye should help a little with the dryness, too.
yeah it should be ok with those colors (like the blues, greens, pinks) just make sure you remember not to put any conditioner on your hair before you put the blue color in it
Right here is a question that will make any hair stylist cringe. I have just dyed my hair permanent jet jet black today, and I was wondering is it at all possible to bleach the very end of my hair so I can put a blue dip in it. Now Im only gonna do this if its possible and wont go ahead if people go absolutely crazy, I dont want my hair to fall out. But I know its difficult to get black dye out, was wondering if freshly done black dye is damn near impossible?
Wait at least 2 weeks to do it. This can really damage your hair.
dont do it now especially you need to wait a few weeks becuase the black has already damaged your hair and then the bleaching wil lmake it fall out
Uuum.. well it IS possible. You could but it's going to turn orange and I'm sure you know that already. But how it will effect the blue ? I'm not sure . Just make sure you just do the ends of it for now.
First of all it is not going to be easy in anyway. I recommend if you want to do it go to a salon and have a professional do it. If you try on your own you will have a very hard time. You'd have to buy color remover that removes the color pigment, but it will still be black then you will have to bleach it and will take at least 2 hours.... probably longer. Then you'd have to do the blue. You also risk it being uneven.
DON'T DO IT!!!! Wait at least 3 months, I'm serious. Deep condition your hair to prepare it. Bleaching is sooo detrimental to you hair.. it could break and it would NOT be pretty.
Contrary to what everyone else is saying, its best to do it now while the colour hasnt fully set into the hair cuticle (it takes 72 hours). It will be much easier to accomplish now then it would be if you wait a few days/weeks. Just make sure you use a good treatment after to ensure your hair stays in optimum health.
like, i dont want it to be like anyone elses, my hair is 3 inches past my shoulders, its staight, an right now its dark brown, i want so differnt colors, maybe like white highlights, and blue highlights, and dye my hair black, but how should i get it cut, i want to keep the lenght.....just gimmie some of ur ideas plz

Why not change your fringe?
Or get some really choppy layers cut into the top of your hair so that you can keepo the length but see a difference.
Or just do something like curling your hair?
Although i think messy curls look better than proper curls.
Curl your hair loosely Then just part a bit using your hands.
Not too much though.And dont brush it until you want the curls to go or whatever. CAuse a lot of the time it will just end up looking crimped if you do that.

I'm a youngin at 14 years old, and wondering what I can do with hair like my own. It's dark brown and shoulder-length, thick, and naturally straight. However, it curls at the ends whenever I air-dry or straighten it with a blowdryer. Because of this, I wear it up in a messy-bun type thing every day, and I'm getting kind of tired of it. I'm also thinking about dying my hair a funky color (like purple or blue), but am leaning towards just doing it on the face-frame bangs that I have.

I think you would look really cute with straight across bangs. It doesn't work on everyone, but I think it would fit your face shape.

well if it is naturally straight, why do you straighten it?
you could get a headband (to wear w/ a ponytail or messy bun or you could wear it down too with a ponytail)
maybe have it cut in layers like:
- top layer kind of short, just fits in ponytail
- bottom layer longer
you could cut bangs
maybe you could get some fashion magazines and look through them and find some cute hairstyles

I think you should go to a really good stylist at a nice salon, and let them have their way with you.
I think that they will be able to to find something that suits you really well, because they are professionals, and also looking at it more objectively.
You are very pretty and when you are 30 you might finally believe me :) I think that you would look great with more bangs and something that is short with lots of layers to work with your hair's natural tendencies. I love funky colored hair, and at your age you can definitely do it, but with your description of your hair, I would discourage it. to radically change your hair color requires multiple chemical processes and it destroys your hair texture and health. Also, when colors wash out of darker hair they usually leave a disgusting color residue that takes a while to get rid of. I'd stick with highlights. Oh, and definitely part your hair on the side.
You have hair similar to mine, only mine's longer. I, too, put my hair up each day, and am also getting tired of it. I would suggest layering your hair to give it some body... Talk to a stylist to see your options when it comes to layers. (How short/long you're willing to go) If you want to thin out your hair (you mentioned that it's thick) you might want to think about razor cutting the ends.
As for color (blue in particular), unless you're willing to spend a lot of time (and money) to KEEP it blue, don't do it. You have to bleach your hair if you want a really vibrant blue. However, as time goes on, the blue will fade, and the blond won't, leaving a sort of sickly green. Purple would be nice, though.... I'm getting purple highlights in a few months myself. You should definitly just get highlights or on your bangs... It will look better than just dying all your hair purple.

wow honestly i love your hair..even though is up in a bun you didn't have to tell me your type of hair i love it...
why don't you try adding moose when is wet and scruning it up so it can come up curly or wavy..or anything with some sort of volume and let it air..
i suggest u always leave your ahir down..
