How do I do my hair and makeup for Halloween? (Gothic Look)?

I want to look like a goth for halloween this year, I'm already dressing in full black with boots and fishnets and stuff, but I don't know what to do with my hair. I have natural black hair and I'm getting electric blue highlights in it tomorrow, but should I have it dead straight or curly? And I have layers too...what do i do with those?

About makeup...what do I play up? Eyes, lips or both? Any tips well appreciated

do you have tattoo stickers? black butterflies ,dragonflies, spiders ..flowers etc. ( you can draw them with black ink pen - if u r good at it...)

paint your nails black too! you still can have red lips ( really red lips!)

maybe you would like to have a really pretty doll as your prop too!

k, so about your hair, keep in down straight cuz thats more goth, but if you want something that'll look a little hotter take a gel or mousse and play up w/ ur layers by putting the gel on the tips....then for makeup...just since its halloween, i would say go all out with a black sparkly eye shadow....no mascara, EYE LINER, and black or dark lipstick! GOOD LUCK!!!

hair, straight down, it would look great with the blue. and makeup, black lipstick,pale face if you want really pale, either go and get practically white foundation, or just go to hot topic, they will have everything. black eyeliner, and mabye a fake facial peircing or two(nose, lip, tongue) if you dont have any your self.

For your hair I suggest you spray it first with a leave in conditioner to protect it from the damage you are about to do! Then either spray it with a volumizing product or use a mousse and massage it in your hair. Hang your head upside down and hit it with the blow dryer while scrunching it up. If you finish on the cool setting, it will make it shiny. Once you've done that and flipped your head back up, pick out sections (not too many) and straighten out with a gel. Your layers should give a wonderful wild effect!

Play up your eyes by using black and gray eye shadows. Use black eye liner on the top and bottom and make sure you line the inside of the lower lid. Then line the bottom with the black shadow and smudge it with a q-tip. Use lots of black mascara. A nice blood red lipstick should do the trick for your lips and keep your face pale.

I did this a few years ago and I looked great! I felt like I looked great!

leave it dead straight, leave the layers, the lipstick is kiss me charcoal (just got that from the suite life!) our face should be pale white (well, not that pale) and the make up and accessories should be black with red and blue and whatnot punk and goth colors.

dead straight hair. thumbs up for the blue highlights, that'll look cool. and as for your make-up...make sure your skin looks really really pale....and dont forget to make your hands and neck and whatever skin you're showing pale too. smoky black eyes always work...you could also get really thick false eyelashes from the drugstore...then find matte (that means not shiny lipgloss, just dull lipstick) black lipstick and wipe your hand over it so that it smudges your face. it'll look freaking awesome!
