i naturally have blonde hair, and it is very boring. i want to add a color to it. but i do not know what color would look the best with my hair. i was thinking black, brown, blue, or red. any other suggestions??

If you really want to make a statement, red, mahogany or copper are a good way to go. They do however require the most maintanence and if you aren't careful with your choice of shade, you could end up with hair that looks likea bacon crisp.

I wouldn't recommend black. It'll clash terribly with your hair, even if it is dark blonde.

If your hair colour is a bit solid, brown would be nice to give it some depth, or a lighter blonde than your own to lift the colour.

If you really are thinking of blue, you need to be wise. For this I would choose something close to Sara Paxton's hair in the movie 'Aquamarine:'

do not do reds because they fade the fastest. it will fade to pink, I'm a cosmetologist trust me. do more of a warm color and make sure they make a formula without ash color in it or it will turn more of green in your blonde hair. try a natural level 6 in brown, tell your stylist she'll know what you're talking about. level 6 is more of lighter brown to go with your blonde hair. you don't want to go too dark. you want it to blend in more with a small weave. trust me they'll know.
