GENES. His hair, or mine, his skin or mine?

I am natural blonde, even now, and when i was a baby i had very sparse hair and WHITE :P

babys daddy is medium brown colour, medium thickness. but his nephew is a real little blondy too

So im thnking my little girl willibe the same, light hair (at least as a baby) and sparse amount. UNless she gets some strong genes from daddy.

I am fair with some light freckles. He has perfect English skin, yet naturaly lightly tanned. So im not sure on babys skin.

I am brown eyes his is blue.

Anyone comment on what bubs hair and skin would be?

I know there is no way to tell, but is all in fun what do you think her eyes, skin and hair will be like??

i say her hair will be brown, and brown eyes, and a medium skin tone.

Well it could be either.

My dad had a darker complexion, dark eyes, and dark hair

My mom has a fair complexion, blue eyes, and blonde hair

I have all of my dad's features

My sister has all of my moms features!

It could go one way or the other, or be a mix of the 2

hair will be darker most likely, light brown i would say. Skin would also be closer to his color than yours. Your traits are recessive to him. Brown eyes are dominant.

You have to consider that genetics do not work exactly form parent to child, grandparents play a role.......

I have a grand-daughter who has 2 brown haired and brown eyed parents. She has reddish blond hair and blue eyes.

I am not sure about the hair, but I do know you need a blue eye gene from each parent to have a blue eyed baby. Grand-baby's paternal grandfather has blue eyes. Her paternal grandmother's (me) father had blue eyes. Hence baby's father had a recessive blue eye gene. I have been told baby has a blue eyed grandparent on her mother's side also. Baby's mother also has a recessive blue eye gene.

Baby had a 50/50 chance of having blue eyes, which she has.

Anyway ... who cares what color hair, skin or eyes she has. She will be the most beautiful baby you have ever seen and you will love her unconditionally.
