After bleaching it to the appropriate level,shampoo, dry, and then color it immediately. Use 10 volume or a deposit only color. You will probably have to do it every week or every other to keep up with those funky fashion colors. It will look cool though.

Your hair should be able to stand same day bleaching and dying as long is the color is semi-permanent. If you're wary, then go ahead and wait a day after bleaching so that you can see the condition of your newly bleached and dry hair.

Plus: If your hair is natural (virgin), you can dye it immediately after bleaching.

No matter what color you color your hair, its best to have your hair professionally done after bleaching it. A lot of times your hair can be very porous (after bleaching) which can make the new color that you use come out to dark. Also when you bleach your hair you are taking all the pigment out to get that blond look. So when you want to color it now you have to put the pigment (primary colors) back in. Using a box color that you can get at a supermarket can be tricky. If you go to a good professional salon they will know what formula to mix to get the right results. The hair stylist will also be able to watch your hair as the color is processing so she/he will know how long to leave it on.
